Getty Images — Manager, Product Owner Management

2018 - Present

Getty Images moves the world with images. I lead a team of Product Owners responsible for delivering enhancements to our our flagship e-commerce brands.

  • Manager of a team of Product Owners across the Seattle and Calgary offices

  • Responsible for the delivery of updates/enhancements to our flagship ecommerce brands, and, which generate close to $1B in annual revenue combined

  • Improved the SDLC  by introducing cross-functional discovery phase and principles

  • Shifted PO alignment from being embedded with Dev teams to being aligned with programs to meet changing business needs

  • Upleveled my  employees on extra-PO skillets such as running design sprints, user journey-mapping, and user research programs

LiquidPlanner, Inc — Lead Product Manager + Account Executive 

2013 - 2017

In my 4.5 years at LiquidPlanner, I designed new features and managed the projects to build and implement them. After a time, I became the manager of the product and design teams while still maintaining my individual contributor product manager duties. Eventually, I decided to try something I'd always wanted to dabble in—Sales. I made a lateral move to become an Account Executive, which gave me awesome perspective in how the "other side" thinks


  • Manager of LiquidPlanner’s Product and Design teams during a period of 3x revenue growth

  • Responsible for curation of the product roadmap; successfully implemented the Pandora roadmap process; communicated strategy to the company and individual departments

  • Collaborated with Design to create a user persona product framework; consistently evangelized design and usability to the company

Product Management

  • Research & Discovery: Identified problems and opportunities through vision, customer feedback, metrics, and industry trends; created and executed user research plans; recruited user testers by segment via; proposed solutions based on validated research

  • Concepting & Prototyping: Collaborated with Engineering and Design to create and iterate on specs/interactive prototypes for user testing and executive stakeholder approval

  • Project Execution: Managed project teams, schedules, and communication; drove projects to high quality, minimum viable (lovable!) product standards. Collaborated with Marketing, CSM, and Sales on go-to-market planning

  • Measurement: Captured feedback via direct customer interaction, support tickets, usage metrics (via Heap Analytics), and attrition/revenue tracking


  • Responsible for closing new SMB & Enterprise Logos at a company with ~10MM revenue, including The Wonderful Company, City of Las Vegas, Torus Games, Jam City Games, and GenZe E-Bikes

  • #1 seller in my territory in every post-ramp quarter

  • #1 overall MRR closed in August & November 2017

  • #1 MRR closed per lead across Sales org

  • Strong product and industry knowledge with high user empathy led to consultative selling, low reliance on Sales Engineering, and mentorship of others on the Sales team

  • Maintained strong ties with the Product Team; translated features and product strategy to sales-focused language for the Sales team

FNX Studios — Director of Delivery


FNX studios was a small product consulting firm based in Bellevue and stocked with some of the best developers I've ever worked with. We ran the gamut from building apps for clients, to being embedded in their teams, and consulting on agile pm processes. 

  • Interacted with clients, development teams, and company executives on a daily basis to ensure the quality of work delivered

  • Served as Product Manager / Scrum Master for client projects, including development of iOS games, web applications, and UI/UX updates

  • Provided Agile consulting to clients as part of the engagement

EMC Isilon — Program Manager

2011 - 2012

EMC Isilon (now owned by Dell) is a leading name in scale-out NAS. In my time there, I worked with a talented group of developers to build features for their OneFS platform. I helped standardize new PMO processes, including working with MS Project Server consultants to stand up our instance. 

  • Managed multiple customer-facing file storage improvement projects for OneFS scale-out NAS platform (FreeBSD variant)

  • Tested and implemented MS Project Server 2010 for the PMO + Engineering teams

Applied Discovery — Project Manager

2006 - 2011

Applied Discovery, Inc (ADI) was a pioneer in electronic discovery. I learned my PM chops at ADI, starting as a project coordinator for our data processing department and working my way up to being the lead project manager on our flagship product and creating and standing up our PMO. ADI was part of LexisNexis, and later acquired by DTI Global.

  • Co-founded ADI’s Project Management Office

  • Managed projects across multiple tool sets including Team Foundation Server (TFS), Microsoft Project, Sharepoint, and Daptiv (eProject).

  • Responsible for managing the design, development, testing, and release phases of the company’s eDiscovery review application

  • Developed and standardized agile project management process

  • Created and implemented company’s user acceptance testing (UAT) process
